The auditorium was the first building renovation at Up Yonda Farm. This barn was
formerly used to house chickens for an egg business operated by Alice and John
Scott. The exterior looks much the same as it did fifty years ago. Today, the
interior is comfortable while retaining the look and feel of an old barn. It is the
starting point for most of our nature programs. Rustic features combine with more
modern elements to create a unique environment for presentations. Nature
photography
and other regional exhibits support the Adirondack theme. Honey bees can be seen up
close in an observation hive during the summer months.
