The garden years ago dedication plaque garden club members at work Summer of 2001 The memorial garden Bench given by the Garden Club of Lake George

The Garden Club of Lake George and Warren County Parks and Recreation joined forces in 1996.  Our mission was to create a lasting tribute to Alice and John Scott.  An existing garden was transformed into The Scott Memorial Garden.  A variety of perennials were planted in each of the four beds.  Older flagstones were replaced with a new walkway, and a bronze plaque inscribed with a dedication was mounted on a large boulder.  Members of the garden club continue to provide volunteer and financial support to care for the memorial garden.  Each spring, the flowers are a reminder of the generosity of Alice and John Scott.
