The butterfly garden provides visitors with a chance to get close to many colorful species at the same time.  This is our most popular exhibit during the summer months.  All plants are the preferred foods of caterpillars or adult butterflies, allowing for observation of various life stages.  The exhibit is enclosed within a netted structure and is wheel chair accessible.  An oval path allows for excellent viewing opportunities.  The garden measures 40'x60' and can accommodate large groups. The exhibit is at it's peak from late July to early September, when the monarchs are the featured species.
